Biography
The core band consists of five professional musicians, all of whom have graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music. The band have performed extensively throughout the UK and abroad at hundreds of corporate events, weddings, parties and more.
Halcyon cover a range of musical styles and genres that include garage grooves, rock classics, recent club hits and contemporary chart music. This young and stylish party band are the perfect choice to kick start your event and leave your guests screaming for more!
Halcyon also offer a more relaxed afternoon acoustic set, perfect for warming up guests before the evening's revelries. These acoustic sets offer your guests a chance to mingle to the beautiful backdrop of music stripped down into a 'live lounge style' sound.
If you think Halcyon sound good in their recordings, just wait until you hear them live! It's not often you can find a vocalist who can do Whitney Houston and Jocelyn Brown justice, but she absolutely killed it. Guitarist also provided the backing vocals and led the vocals on a couple of songs. He had a great voice, too. All top-rate musicians and an excellent track list. The set they put together for our wedding was absolutely superb! We can't stop talking about it!
