Biography
The Tropical Sunshine Steel Band are made up of professional, reliable and highly talented musicians who specialise in playing the steel drums and other instruments. The band offer a whole variety of songs from different genres and in different styles such as Calypso & Soca, Cuban & Brazilian, reggae & ska, pop & soul and contemporary chart hits.
The band have a wealth of experience under their belts having played at summer events, weddings, parties, barbecues, educational establishments, Christmas parties and more across the country. The Tropical Sunshine Steel Band also offer a variety of different line ups that include additional vocals and other instrumentation to suit your requirements.
Very talented and friendly group. They engaged our guests and kept them entertained during our drinks reception, as well as bringing a little bit of home for our Trinidadian guests. The band even played Under the Sea on request for me and my new husband to dance to while we waited to be announced in for dinner. Cannot rate them highly enough - they were a wonderful addition to our special day.
