Biography
With every base covered, from 50s rock 'n' roll to modern pop favourites, this talented 5-piece function band are sure to get the ball rolling at your event. The band is made up of five exceptionally talented individuals, each with experience in the music industry having played alongside the likes of Tom Odell, Beverley Knight, and various members of UB40.
Together the band have played at a number of famous venues across the UK including Wembley Stadium, Koko and Bestival for clients such as Manchester United, Formula 1, Google and Samsung. With an exciting set of sing-alongs, mash-ups and medleys, crowd participation and wireless shenanigans, The Get Down promise to bring a unique blend of energy, laughter and fun to the party!
As well as their upbeat party sets, The Get Down also offer afternoon acoustic sets to get the entertainment underway. Available to hire as either a duo or trio, the acoustic sets can be added for a small additional fee.
The Get Down were absolutely fantastic! They were exactly what we wanted - good quality performance that was fun and kept the party going. They sounded great and joined in/ were a part of the fun we were having. So many of our guests told us they were amazing and were asking us where we found them.
